Overview
The Sennheiser EW-DX EM 2 is the two-channel receiver of the Evolution Wireless Digital EW-DX range. It pairs with EW-DX handheld, bodypack and tablestand transmitters and fits in a half-width 9.5 inch rack space, so two units sit side by side in a standard rack for four channels.
Channels are laid out on an equidistant grid for intermodulation-free operation: 600 kHz spacing in Standard mode (up to 146 channels) or 300 kHz in Link Density mode (up to 293). An AutoScan function finds free frequencies without RF expertise, and a link quality indicator shows the health of each connection.
The unit can be powered from the supplied power supply or over Ethernet (PoE), is controlled from Sennheiser Control Cockpit, Wireless System Manager or third-party control systems, and works with SoundBase. A front headphone output with volume control makes monitoring simple.
