Lavalier Microphones in India

A lavalier (lapel) microphone is a small microphone clipped to clothing, close to the speaker's mouth. It keeps both hands free and stays at a steady distance, which makes it a common choice for presenters, trainers, teachers, interviews and broadcast. It connects to a wireless bodypack transmitter or, with an XLR version, directly to an input.

The range is led by Shure lavalier microphones: the TwinPlex TL45, TL46, TL47 and TL48, the UniPlex UL4, the waterproof DuraPlex DL4, and the MX183 and SM11. You will also find Audio-Technica models such as the AT803 omnidirectional and AT831c cardioid, and a battery-powered JBL CSLM30B. Versions come in black, cocoa, tan and white to match skin tone or clothing, and with different connectors for different wireless transmitters.

Corporate AV supplies, installs and supports lavalier microphones across India. Tell us which transmitter you use and we will match the right connector, or request a quote for supply, installation and commissioning.

Questions our clients ask before buying

If you don't see your question here, our consultants will gladly walk you through specifics on a discovery call.

What is a lavalier microphone?
A lavalier, or lapel, microphone is a small microphone that clips to clothing near the speaker. It keeps both hands free and stays at a steady distance from the mouth.
How do I choose the right connector?
The connector must match your wireless bodypack transmitter. Shure listings show it in the model name, for example MTQG (TA4F, 4-pin mini), LEMO3, MDOT or 3-pin XLR. Check your transmitter first and then pick the matching version.
What is the difference between omnidirectional and cardioid lavaliers?
An omnidirectional microphone picks up evenly from all directions and is the usual choice for speech. A cardioid microphone picks up mainly from the front, which can help reduce unwanted sound in noisy rooms. The product title shows which one each model is.
Why are there several colours?
Lavalier microphones are sold in black, cocoa, tan and white so they blend with skin tone, hair or clothing and stay discreet on camera or on stage.
Are there waterproof lavalier microphones?
Yes. The Shure DuraPlex DL4 is a waterproof lavalier microphone, listed here in several colours and connectors.
Do you install lavalier microphones in India?
Yes. Corporate AV supplies, installs and supports lavalier microphones and wireless systems across India. Request a quote and tell us which transmitter you use.
