A paging microphone is a desktop or wall microphone used to make announcements over a public address system in offices, campuses, factories, hospitals, hotels and transport hubs. It connects to an amplifier or PA system, often with a press-to-talk switch, and in many models a chime tone that signals an announcement is about to be made.
