Conference Microphone Systems in India

A conference microphone system, also called a discussion system, gives each participant at a table their own microphone unit, with a central unit that manages who can speak. It is used in council chambers, boardrooms, courts, training rooms and committee rooms, where many people need to be heard clearly and the chair needs to stay in control of the discussion.

The range is led by TOA conference systems, including the TS-690, TS-790, TS-810, TS-820 and TS-910 series with central units, chairman units, delegate units and booster units, plus TS-903 and TS-904 microphones and TS-905 and TS-907 infrared transmitter and receiver units. You will also find the Audio-Technica ATUC-50 wired discussion system, with the ATUC-50CU control unit and ATUC-50DUa discussion units.

How to choose a conference microphone system

Start with the number of seats and whether the units should be wired or wireless, then match the units to a central unit from the same series.

FREQUENTLY ASKED

Questions our clients ask before buying

If you don't see your question here, our consultants will gladly walk you through specifics on a discovery call.

What is a conference microphone system?
It is a set of microphone units, one for each participant or pair of participants, connected to a central unit that manages the microphones. A chairman unit lets the chair control who is speaking.
What is the difference between chairman and delegate units?
Delegate units are for participants and let them request to speak. Chairman units have extra controls so the chair can manage the discussion, for example by approving requests to speak. TOA lists both, such as the TS-791L chairman unit and the TS-792L delegate unit.
Why do I need a central unit?
The central unit connects the microphone units, powers them and controls the system, for example the TOA TS-690, TS-820 and TS-910 central units and the Audio-Technica ATUC-50CU control unit.
What are booster units and infrared units for?
Booster units such as the TOA TS-690BS extend the system for larger setups. Infrared transmitter and receiver units such as the TS-905 and TS-907 support wireless operation. Check the product pages for compatible models.
How many delegate units can one system take?
It depends on the system. Check the specifications of the central unit for the series you choose, or send us your seat count and room layout and we will recommend a system.
