Product Overview

Overview

The Q-SYS QIO-GP8x8 is a compact network expander with eight logic inputs and eight logic outputs. It reads switches and sensors and drives lights, buzzers and relays: occupancy sensors, push buttons, door contacts and LED indicators plug into it and appear as controls in Q-SYS. The inputs accept 0 to 24 V analog, digital or contact closure, with a switchable pull-up, and the outputs are open-collector at 24 V and 200 mA.

Corporate AV supplies, installs and supports Q-SYS systems from QSC across India. Request a quote for the QIO-GP8x8 with supply, installation and commissioning.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Q-SYS QIO-GP8x8?
The Q-SYS QIO-GP8x8 is a compact network expander with eight logic inputs and eight logic outputs. It reads switches and sensors and drives lights, buzzers and relays: occupancy sensors, push buttons, door contacts and LED indicators plug into it and appear as controls in Q-SYS. The inputs accept 0 to 24 V analog, digital or contact closure, with a switchable pull-up, and the outputs are open-collector at 24 V and 200 mA.
What can the inputs read?
Q-SYS lists 0 to 24 V DC analog input, digital input or contact closure, with a configurable pull-up to +12 V.
What can the outputs drive?
Open-collector outputs that sink up to 200 mA at 24 V DC, with an internal pull-up to 3.3 V. For mains-voltage loads, use a relay such as the QIO-LVR4.
Can it power sensors?
Yes. Each GPIO 12 V power pin supplies 100 mA maximum through a resettable fuse.
Is it only for Q-SYS cores?
It is a Q-SYS network device configured in Q-SYS Designer, so it needs a Q-SYS core in the system.
How big is it, and how hot may the room be?
About 139.7 x 108 x 40.4 mm and 0.54 kg. Q-SYS rates 0 to 50 C, but 40 C maximum if mounted in a rack stack with units above and below.
Can Corporate AV supply and install the Q-SYS QIO-GP8x8 in India, and how do I get a quote?
Yes. Corporate AV supplies, installs and supports Q-SYS and QSC systems across India, with a site survey, commissioning and after-sales support. Use the Request a Quote button on this page or message us on WhatsApp.
