Overview
The Q-SYS QIO-FLEX4A is a half-rack expander with four Flex audio channels, GPIO, an RS-232 port and two small amplifier outputs. Each Flex channel can be set as a mic/line input or a line output, and two built-in amplifier channels can drive compact loudspeakers directly, so one unit can serve a small room with a microphone, a speaker pair and a few control lines. It is the only QIO model with a loudspeaker output, and the amplifier is limited when it runs on PoE rather than 24 V DC. Q-SYS notes support arrives with Designer Software v9.12.
