Overview
The Q-SYS PL-SUB15 is a ported 15-inch PL subwoofer with a switchable cardioid pattern. A 15-inch driver with a 4-inch voice coil reaches 38 Hz at 97.5 dB sensitivity and 139 dB continuous. Its radiation can be switched in Q-SYS between omnidirectional and cardioid, though cardioid needs at least two subwoofers, which lets a pair keep bass off a stage.
