Product Overview

Overview

The Attero Tech Axiom AXPio is a two-channel analog audio expander that carries line-level signals over ordinary CAT-5 or CAT-6 cable. It is not a networked or Dante device: it is the point-to-point end of an Axiom wall plate system, sitting by the amplifier, mixer or Q-SYS I/O and taking the signal that arrives from a USB, Bluetooth or XLR wall plate. Its two balanced Flex ports can be two inputs, two outputs or one of each, and an RS-232 port passes control to a network AV system.

Corporate AV supplies, installs and supports Q-SYS systems from QSC across India. Request a quote for the Axiom AXPio with supply, installation and commissioning.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Attero Tech Axiom AXPio?
The Attero Tech Axiom AXPio is a two-channel analog audio expander that carries line-level signals over ordinary CAT-5 or CAT-6 cable. It is not a networked or Dante device: it is the point-to-point end of an Axiom wall plate system, sitting by the amplifier, mixer or Q-SYS I/O and taking the signal that arrives from a USB, Bluetooth or XLR wall plate. Its two balanced Flex ports can be two inputs, two outputs or one of each, and an RS-232 port passes control to a network AV system.
Is the Axiom AXPio a Dante or network audio device?
No. The Axiom series simply carries analog audio between two points on plain twisted-pair cable, with no network involved. The Axon and unD series are the Dante models.
What can it connect to?
It pairs with Axiom wall plates (USB, Bluetooth or XLR) at the room end and hands analog audio to an amplifier, mixer or other destination. Some earlier Axiom plates are discontinued, so Corporate AV confirms which plate is available for your order.
How are the two ports used?
As two inputs, two outputs, or one of each, set to suit the room. Input gain is -4 to +20 dB, and the maximum level is +24 dBu in or out.
How is it powered?
It needs +24 V DC at 100 mA, which also travels through the Axiom port to the wall plate.
Can it be controlled from Q-SYS?
Its RS-232 connection lets a network AV system such as Q-SYS control it, as stated by Attero Tech.
Can Corporate AV supply and install the Attero Tech Axiom AXPio in India, and how do I get a quote?
Yes. Corporate AV supplies, installs and supports Q-SYS and QSC systems across India, with a site survey, commissioning and after-sales support. Use the Request a Quote button on this page or message us on WhatsApp.
