Logitech R500s: Laser Pointer Presentation Remote
Model R500s
- Red Class 1 laser pointer
- Bluetooth Low Energy or 2.4 GHz USB receiver
- Wireless range of 20 m
- Battery life of 12 months without the laser
Overview
The Logitech R500s is a laser presentation remote with a simple, three-button layout so the presenter can move through slides without looking down. The red laser is Class 1, with output under 0.039 mW at 640 to 660 nm.
It connects through Bluetooth Low Energy or a 2.4 GHz USB receiver at up to 20 metres and uses 1 AAA battery that Logitech lists at 12 months plus an extra week without the laser pointer. Logi Options+ on Windows and macOS customises the buttons, and a 1-year limited hardware warranty applies.
