Overview
The Crestron IV-SAM-VX2-P Automate VX Pro is a voice-activated camera switching solution that brings the multicamera studio experience to meetings, town halls and classrooms. Crestron 1 Beyond cameras switch automatically based on the location of the active speaking participant, and an intelligent video algorithm follows the conversation to avoid excessive switching.
It supports 7 SDI or 12 NDI|HX sources plus one additional USB camera source and outputs SDI and NDI streams. Visual AI autoframes and reframes shots, a built-in encoder and recorder handle live streams (to any RTMP server) and recording to 316 GB of internal SSD storage as MP4 (H.264, up to 10 Mbps) or MOV, and a REST API allows third-party control. Configuration is through the browser-based Room Designer tool.
