Overview
The Bose 802 Series V is an installed sound reinforcement loudspeaker with eight 4.5 inch full-range drivers, smooth frequency response, wide dispersion and strong power handling. Its proprietary array design gives a 120° horizontal by 100° vertical pattern, and the 52 Hz to 15 kHz range (-10 dB) can remove the need for subwoofers at moderate sound levels.
The mineral-reinforced HDPE enclosure is IP55 weather-rated for indoor or outdoor use and has a powder-coated perforated steel grille and eight M8 threaded inserts. Power handling is 240 W continuous and 960 W peak into 8 ohms with 92 dB sensitivity and a calculated 116 dB maximum SPL at 1 m (123 dB peak per Bose). It works with the 802 U-bracket and WBP-8 wall-mount adapter, and Bose lists it as sold only in specific regions, including India.
