Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Biamp Devio SCR-25C?
The Biamp Devio SCR-25C is a Bluetooth conferencing hub with pendant microphone. The SCR-25C takes the same pendant-microphone arrangement as the SCR-20C and adds Bluetooth to the hub. That matters for rooms where people pair a phone for a call or play audio from a handheld device without plugging anything in. It is available in black and white versions.
What are the main specifications of the Biamp Devio SCR-25C?
Biamp lists these figures for the Devio SCR-25C: dimensions: H 46 mm x W 284 mm x D 175 mm; weight: 0.9 kg; power: 24V DC 60W; network connections: RJ-45 with Ethernet cable (Cat 5e and above). The full specification table is on this page.
What microphone ships with the Devio SCR-25C?
A DCM-1 pendant microphone. It hangs from the ceiling, uses an eight-element array and covers the table in three 120 degree zones with a mute indicator for each.
How is the SCR-25C powered and how big is it?
The hub runs from a 24 V DC supply rated at 60 W and measures about 284 x 175 x 46 mm, weighing roughly 0.9 kg, so it can sit behind a display or under a table.
What does the SCR-25C add over the SCR-20C?
Bluetooth on the hub. The pendant microphone, the body size and the power supply are the same as in the SCR-20C pairing, so the choice comes down to whether phones need to pair directly.
