Overview
The Barco RGB Laser ODL-721 is a 70 inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) RGB-laser DLP rear-projection video wall cube for 24/7 control rooms. Barco states it gives 2x more brightness than mainstream LED-lit rear-projection walls and 25% less power at higher brightness. On the CSI screen it delivers 650 cd/m² in boost, 500 cd/m² normal, 250 cd/m² eco and 190 cd/m² in eco+, with up to 170% of the REC709 colour triangle and 1800:1 contrast.
The RGB laser source is rated above 125,000 hours in normal and eco modes, with redundant laser banks, redundant power supply drivers and redundant input signal and external power supply. Sense X calibrates automatically, noise is under 20 dB at 3 m, and connections are two DisplayPort 1.2 inputs with one output and two HDMI 2.0 inputs at 4K60. This is the rear-access version.
